every year on 25th April is Anzac Day, we remember People who have defended our country. On ANZAC Day we show our thanks to the people who have fought for our country. On ANZAC Day flowers and wreaths of red poppies are laid at the bottom of war memorials as a way of saying we have remembered these brave people. The Ode is part of a special poem that is said during the ANZAC Day service. Here are the words:
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
